MAMOU-It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Ann Fontenot, 61 announces her passing at Savoy Care Center in Mamou on August 16, 2016 at 3:25 a.m., at the age of 61. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday afternoon August 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with Father Thainese officiating.
A wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend Pat will be greatly missed by her husband, Tony Fontenot of Mamou; one son, Stacy Fontenot and wife, April of Richard; one daughter, Sharon Swarna and husband, Ramesh of Jennings; three sisters, Diana Duplechain, and Sherry Landreneau and husband, CJ all of Mamou, and June Powell of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren, Brendon and Sydni Duplechan, Shyla and Sanjay Swarna, Ian, Sophie and Breyden Fontenot
Pat will now reunite in Heaven with her parents, Dora Marcantel and Herman Prudhomme and five brothers, Aubrey, Frank and Ricky Prudhomme, Donald Marcantel and Billy Lejeune.
They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Fontenot family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
