MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Pearl Suire, 91, announces her passing on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 3:40 pm at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 12:00 noon at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Pearl will be greatly missed by her three sons, Oran Suire and wife, Joy of Baton Rouge, Charles Suire and his late wife, Ruby of Mamou, and Glen Suire and wife, Pat of Lafayette one daughter Brenda Suire Landreneau and husband, Doug of Mamou eighteen grandchildren, twentyfour greatgrandchildren and seven greatgreat grandchildren.
Pearl will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Oris Suire, her parents, Justin and Octavia Saucier Miller, one brother Robert Miller and one granddaughter, Paula Suire Fontenot.
They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume on Friday April 11, 2014 from 8:00 am until time of services. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
