It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pearl Vidrine announces her passing on December 22, 2016 in Mamou, at the age of 83.

Mrs. Pearl was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Pearl enjoyed to cook for her family; no matter what it was it was always delicious. She loved her garden and was known to have a green thumb. Pearl's family was her world, she loved every time they would get-together. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pearl leaves behind her children, Glenda Bacon, Michael McGee and Sharona LeBouef; sister, Mary Dupre; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Donnatile and Adam Ardoin; brothers, Sullivan, Elward, Easton and Gilbert Ardoin; husbands, Iray McGee and Adam Burke Vidrine; sons, Daniel and Gary McGee; daughter, Alice Reed; and grandchildren, Derick McGee, Christopher McGee and Johnny Reed, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Ardoin Funeral Home at 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue Friday, December 23, 2016 at Richie House of Prayer at 8:00 am until time of service. Funeral services will be at 2.00 pm. Mrs. Pearl will be laid to rest in the Reed Cemetery Lanse Merge.
