Mamou- Funeral Services for Mr. R. J. Fontenot will be held on, Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bob Courville officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery. Mr. R. J. Fontenot age, 70 died at his residence on November 6, 2006 4:00 a.M.

Visitation will begin 3:00P.M. on Monday, 11062006 until time of services on Tuesday.

Mr. Fontenot is survived by his wife, Dale Dontenot of Mamou ; three sons, Carl G. Fontenot of Lafayette, La , Raphael J. Fontenot wife, Susan of Broussard, La. Gilbert R. Fontenot, wife Joanna of Lanse Meg; two step-sons, Stacy Granger wife, Angelle, Joe Granger wife, Amanda both of Mamou; one step-daughter, Regina Smith husband, Josh of New Iberia, La; fourteen grandchoildren four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Fonytenot wife, Jane of Lafayette, La, Donald G. Fontenot wife, Bonnie of Opelousas, La; one sister, Veronica Fitzgerald husband Tim of Oklahoma.

Mr. R. J. Fontenot was preceded in death by his wife, Belva Lou Reed Fontenot and his parents, lLillioan Leman Fontenot.
