MAMOUChapel Services will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at, the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou, at 2:00 pm for Resa Bertrand, 93 . Rite of Committal will follow in the Old St. Ann Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Mrs. Resa a native of Mamou died at Opelousas General Health System on December 24, 2011 at 5:49 am.
A loving mother,grandmother, and great grandmother , Resa will be remembered by her son, Nolan and wife Frankie Bertrand, of Opelousas two grandchildren, Gary Bertrand of Plaisence, La, and Joni Nezat of Trusville, Al two greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild.
She now rest in Heaven with her beloved husband, Milton Bertrand and a host of brothers and isters.The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, December 26, 2011 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
