Mamou - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017 for Robert S. Cole at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Tyler Saucier will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the New St. Ann's Cemetery.

Robert, age 37 and a resident of Mamou, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. It will continue on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.

Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially with his two boys, brother and father. He loved spending time at his camp with his family. Rob will be remembered as someone who was always joking around with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jessica Cole; sons, Nicholas and Nathan Cole; brother, Randall Cole and wife Adrian Cole; father, Bobby Cole; mother, Debbie Caudle; grandmother, Wylene Cole; aunt, Sharon Smith; sisters-in-law, Monica, Kristie and Kimberly; and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Cole; and maternal grandparents, Archie Caudle and Emily Caudle.
