MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Gus Miller, 65 announces his passing on, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Vidrine. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bryce Sibley officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the Platin Cemetery in Platin.
Mr. Miller, a resident of Vidrine, was a retired Superviser and Vocational leader for Ag and FFA. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather, he will be lovingly remembered by his wife,Glenda Vidrine Miller of Vidrine, La one daughter, Stephanie Vidrine of Vidrine La two sons , David Miller and wife Kristi of Vidrine, La, and Justin Miller, of Oakdale, La. six grandchildren, one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roylie Miller and Jessie LaHaye and two brothers, Clyde and Richard Dickie Miller.
Family request that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 2:00 pm , until time of services on Thursday, February 11, 2010. A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm.
