Mamou-Mass of Christian Burial for Rogers James Semien, Sr., 54 will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Services will be at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La with Burial to follow in the Delafosse Cemetery in Beaver Creek, La.

Mr. Semien, a resident of Austin, Tx and a native of Beaver Creek, La died on Monday, October 29, 2007 at his resident at 3:30 P.M.

He is survived, by his mother, Allie Semien, of Ville Platte, La; four sons, James Semien, of Mamou, La, Rogers James Semien, Jr. of Ville Platte, La Curtis Semien, and Charles Semien, both of Waco, Tx; one daughter, Juanita Atkins, Austin, Tx; Numerous Grandchildren; five brothers, Darrell Semien, Oberlin, La, Herman Semien, Opelousas, La, Vincent Semien of Ville Platte, La, John Wilson Semien, Baton Rouge, La, Donald Semien of Mamou,La; four sisters, Velma Davis, Shirley Semien, and Dee Dee Chambers, all of Ville Platte, La, and Gerri Thomas, of Lake Charles, La.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Semien, and one sister, Lois Williams; mr Semien was also preceded in death by three infants.
