MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Rosebelle M. Guillory, 87 announce her passing on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 12:50 pm at Eunice Manor in Eunice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum in Mamou with father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Rose was a hard worker having worked at the Elizabeth Paper Mill, was a School Lunch room worker and enjoyed her work as a sitter with the elderly for a number of years. She enjoyed her weekly card games and her trips to the Casino. She was a Volunteer at Savoy Medical Center as a Pink Lady and a member of the VFW ladies Auxiliary and Evangeline Home Demonstration Club. Rose left many cherished memories such as Quilting, Crocheting and being a wonderful cook and baker.
Rosebelle will be greatly missed by one son , Carl Guillory and his wife, Vicky from Texas City, Tx two daughters, Brenda Fontenot and husband, Michael of Eunice and Charlotte Gann and husband, George of Baytown, Tx 8 grandchildren, Scott and Todd Guillory, Toni, Steven, and Kim Fontenot and Michael, Christie and Jeff Gann 13 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild one sister, Marjorie Pang of Baker.
Rose will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Louray Guillory and one brother, Anthony McGee. Their reunion will surely be a joyous occasion.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 9:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm by Deacon Chuck Ortego.
