Mamou- Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Suely Manuel, 94, on Friday August 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bob Courville officiating. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mr. Manuel, a resident of Denham Springs, La and a native of Mamou died on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs, at 10:55 a.m

He is survived by his two daughters, Rita Manuel Feucht and husband Gerald, and Colleen Coburn Wixson and husband, Bill all of Denham Springs, La; three sisters, Irena Ardoin andLeola Porche both of Sulphur, La and Lou Anna Veillon of Ville Platte, La;

Mr. Manuel was a proud Paw Paw to eight grandchildren Gerald Feucht, Jr and wife, Julie, Nick Feucht and wife, Candy, Amy Frizell and Husband Jeff, Aaron Coburn and wife, Kristen, and Derek Coburn, Blake Coburn, Nielsen Wixson, and Cy Wixson. He was Suely Gran- Gran to five great-grandchildren Cameron Feucht, Riley Feucht, Mallory Frizell, Madison Feucht, and Kennedy Coburn.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gussie Fruge Manuel; his second wife Neva Ryder Davis; His Parents, Delmasa Blanco Eva Manuel; three sisters, Lorris Duplechain, Stella Langley and Beulah Dugas. He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law Terrance Terry Coburn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 5:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday Night.
