MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. for Suzette V. Haymon, 70, at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Sibley officiating the services.

Mrs. Haymon, a native of Mamou, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 11:45 p.m. at her residence.

A Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend, she is survived by her husband, Rolan Haymon of Mamou, La; one son, Myles T. Haymon and wife, Jennifer of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Katrina Rose Tullock and husband, Leonard Hobson of Galena Park, TX, Robin Doyal of Mamou, and Jeanmarie Hobson and husband, Douglas of Mamou; two brothers, Daniel Vidrine and wife, Helen of St. Francisville and Robert Bob Vidrine and wife, Martha of Ville Platte; two sisters, Fern Lou Guillory and Mary Nell Fontenot and husband, John, all of Mamou; twelve grandchildren, Jakada, Nicole and Shane Haymon, Katy Deschenes, Angela Fredrick and Aaron Tullock, Joe Garza, Anita Callaghan, and Katrina Doyal, Jeremy Hobson, Rolan Hobson and Andrea OReilly; and fifteen great grandchildren. All who knew and loved her will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by a brother in-law, Paul C. Guillory and a sister in-law, Joyce Vidrine.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until Services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
