Tina Marie Manuel was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on February 11, 1965 to Nichol and Kathaleen Romero. She is often lovingly referred to by her family as a "hot mess" and "loads of fun". Tina was a strong, outgoing lady who devoted her time and strength to taking care of her family and strived to do everything in her power to ensure their success in life. Holly Beach and her pond, that her husband built, were her favorite places here on Earth. She enjoyed catching and eating crabs regardless of their size and was a true fisherwoman even after everyone else gave up. Tina's favorite thing in the world after her family was Christmas. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas, which she started weeks in advance, and Christmas shopping, which she started over a year in advance. Tina was a very determined and courageous person who never accepted "no" for an answer. She even said no to cancer as she fought her batter for 10 years. Tina will be greatly missed and never forgotten by those who knew her.
Tina leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 35 loving years Walter James Manuel, sons Landon Manuel and wife Rachelle of Mamou, Dylan Manuel and wife Samantha of Eunice, daughters April Deaville and husband Bryce of Richard, Abbie Manuel and husband Brandon of Mamou. Also left behind are her 9 grandchildren, who she loved to the moon and back: Braylen, Lauryn, Morghan, Parker, Aisley, Payton, Beaux, Karsyn, and BreAnn; brother Nick Romero and husband David Savoy of Ville Platte, sisters Lynette Marcantel and husband Andre' of Mamou and Kay Howell and Husband Roy of Mamou and aunt Lisa Champagne of Mamou
Tina is now reunited in heaven with her parents Nichol and Kathaleen Romero.
