MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, April 27, 2019, for Turner John Landreneau, Sr., 69, who passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Branch, LA surrounded by his loved ones.
Deacon David Guillory will conduct all funeral services.
Burial will take place in Manuel Cemetery in Oberlin, La.
Turner John Landreneau, Sr. was born in Sulphur, La. on September 4,1949 to Adam and Ethel Bass Landreneau. Turner was born and raised on a farm on the outskirts of Mamou, with his 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He was a proud veteran who served in the United States Marine Corp. He was an all-around country boy and jack of all trades. Turner was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He loved hunting, fishing, and golf. His greatest love was spending every possible minute with his five grandsons; which he adored.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elaine Schuff Landreneau of Branch; sons, Turner J. Landreneau, Jr. and wife Lauren of Mamou and Adam Trent Landreneau and wife Jamie of Rayne; grandsons, Parker, Caden, Nate, Collin, and Tripp; sister, Anna Smart of Lake Charles; and brother, CJ Landreneau of Mamou.
Turner is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Ethel Bass Landreneau; brothers, Hoover Landreneau and Christopher Landreneau; and sister, Emiline Fontenot.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
