MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Viel Hebert announces his passing on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Savoy Care Center. He was 77 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Platin Cemetery in Vidrine with Fr. Mitchell Guidry Celebrant.
. He leaves behind three sons, Patrick Ray Hebert and wife Deann, of Ville Platte, Michael Keith Hebert and wife, Rebecca of Locas Grove, Georgia and Phillip Hebert and wife, Linda of Iota one daughter Barbara Strother of Ville Platte. His close Companion, Mavis Morein of Mamou one brother Jerry Hebert of Ville Platte one sister, Ella Marie Granger and husband Rodrick of Ville Platte nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He now rests in Heaven with his, wife Elaine Mae Hebert, one soninlaw, James Stroder and three great grandchildren.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
