MAMOUA wonderful, mother, sister, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, Wilma T. Courville will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Wilma died peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was 67. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, October 29, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry Celebrant.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, James Courville and Randy Courville, both of Mamou three daughters, Samantha Trattles, Kim C. Landreneau and husband, Michael, and Maxie Deville and husband, Keith, all of Vidrine two brothers, Ricky Thibodeaux and Kenneth Thibodeaux, both of Eunice sister, Mildred Richard of Church Point sixteen grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Wilma now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Pierre and Cecile Picard Thibodeaux brother, Linus Thibodeaux grandson, Gareth Brock Landreneau and soninlaw, Bobby Trattles.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 10:00am until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
