Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Mr. Zelien Fontenot, 95 who passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 3:55 P.M. at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, La. Rite of Committial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery, with Father Bryce Sibley Celebrant.

Mr. Fontenot a resident of Mamou, was a local Farmer for many years . He is survived by two Children; one daughter, Gloria Bergeron and one son, L.Z. Fontenot and wife, Jane all from Mamou; six grandchildren, and one step-grandson; twenty great-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lizzy Landry, of Thornwell, La.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lelma Fontenot and one grandson, Milton Bergeron, Jr.

Visitation will be on September 21, 2009 from 3:00 pm-until time of services onTuesday.

Father Jude Thierry will recite the Rosary on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 7:00 PM
